Haleakala National Park provides an informational website that we recommend you visit when planning your tour. If possible, revisit the site, for current weather conditions, on the day you will make your trip.
The website will assist you in knowing local history, hours of operation, what to expect, and scheduled activities you may wish to include in your visit.

As with all national parks, there is an entrance fee. National Park passes are honored. Credit cards are not accepted for admission payment.
You won’t find hotels or concessions within Haleakala National Park.
